Gigi

We are Anna and Margaux, travel enthusiasts! For some time now, we have acquired Gigi, our Ford Transit Custom, to travel differently. We wanted a van that was simple, with a minimum of comfort, and we have achieved that! Want a weekend on the coast, a stay in the mountains, or trips abroad? We will be happy to make Gigi available to you! Your pets are also welcome! Feel free to contact us, we will gladly answer all your questions.

● Vehicle Description:
Our van is 2m high and passes under barriers 2m10, category 1 on the highway (like cars), rearview camera and front and rear radar, onboard computer with Apple Carplay/Android auto, air conditioning, speed limiter/cruise control...

● Layout:
Gigi is insulated from floor to ceiling (armaflex/rock wool). The interior is made of wood (poplar, pine, and solid beech).

● Storage and Equipment:
- Numerous storage spaces in different cupboards and drawers, anti-opening system
- Bed 130x195cm with memory foam mattress for more comfort
- Below the bed, it has a 1m45 drawer that opens completely and a large storage space
- Very efficient compressor cooler (18L)
- Sink with faucet
- Dry toilet and electric shower
- Bench that allows for face-to-face dining with a sliding table, removable that can be fixed at the back of the van to cook outside
- 2 clean water jugs (2x30L) and one gray water jug (16L)
- Blackout curtains on all windows and an integrated mosquito net
- 5 USB ports and 3 USB-C ports to charge your phones/cameras

Important: Gigi is not equipped with heating.

● On electricity and autonomy:
Auxiliary lithium battery 200a, 150w solar panel, victron smart solar coupler (the battery charges while driving, no need to plug it in!), LED lighting with remote control and switch, hands-free LED for the kitchen.

● The little plus:
Gigi is equipped with a soundbar with subwoofer and a projector with remote control (access to Netflix, Android system, USB reader, HDMI) and a 45-inch projection screen! Ideal for your relaxation evenings!

● During the rental, we provide:
- Duvet, sheets, cushions, and blankets according to the season
- A camping table and 2 chairs
- Kitchen essentials for 2 people (plates, cutlery, frying pan, saucepan, bowl, cutting board, scissors, glasses/cups, bottle opener...)
- Some condiments (salt, pepper, olive oil, coffee, and tea)
- Cleaning essentials (dishwashing liquid, mop, bucket, dustpan, cleaning products, garbage bags)
- A camping gas stove (1 burner) with a replacement gas bottle
- An Italian coffee maker
- A solar shower
- A shower tent
- A small step stool
- A tarp to fix on the back doors.

You can park your vehicle in the driveway of our house. Gigi will be rented with a full tank and cleaned; we will ask you to return it in the same condition. Plan on about 1 hour on the day of pickup for the handling of our protected one. A welcome booklet will be provided, and we will remain available throughout the duration of the rental. Don't forget to fill in our guest book; it will make us happy!
