Description
This van converted by Westfalia based on a Volkswagen Transporter T6 2.0 TDI with 150 hp, 6-speed manual transmission, is ideal for escaping for a weekend or even an entire week thanks to its electric and water autonomy (50L clean and 36L gray). The battery and solar panel have been replaced.
Its height of 1.99 m allows you to remain in category 1 on highways and to pass under the 2 m bars of most parking lots. On average, you will only consume 8 liters per 100 kms.
The Kepler one is very functional with its kitchen, chemical toilets (rare for this size of vehicle), diesel heating, gas water heater, small refrigerator/freezer, wardrobe, numerous storage spaces, and indoor shower! But you can also shower outside thanks to a provided hatch tent.
The pop-up roof bed is very comfortable and will allow you to sleep almost under the stars. If you are going with 3 or 4, the transformation of the lower bed is quite easy by lowering the dining table.
Precision about the general condition: the bodywork is clean, the roof tent shows normal wear, and the seats show more significant wear but it should be noted that this is the weak point of this model. Nice seat covers are surely the best solution.
Technical details: the van is fitted with summer tires and 4 winter tires that have been used for one season will be provided. No service required before 20,000 kms. The major service has just been carried out at the dealership. On the mechanical side, the accessory belt was replaced recently after the technical inspection which will be redone for sale (less than 6 months). The front and rear brake pads are new.
