The handsome guy you see in the photo is Michel 😎 - our custom-built van from 2021 based on a 2017 VW Transporter T6, located in Venelles, on the outskirts of Aix-en-Provence.

*Why travel with Michel?*
Michel is the ideal companion for a freedom road trip, whether alone or with someone: he parks like a car, maneuvers through small roads and perched villages where a motorhome cannot fit. Thanks to his high-capacity solar panel, you will be fully self-sufficient in terms of electricity, even after several days in the wild.

*A warm and well-thought-out interior*
We custom-built Michel from a "raw" vehicle, using natural materials: wood, cork insulation, and biofib wool. Every nook has been designed to make the space both practical and pleasant to live in (big shoutout to the URVAN team for this magnificent work).

*On the equipment side*
• a complete kitchenette: 1 gas burner, mini fridge/freezer, sink, and folding table,
• a comfortable bed of 130 x 193 cm,
• a shower at the back,
• a large storage compartment under the bed and plenty of storage space in the cabin,
• standard and USB sockets,
• built-in lighting that creates a cozy and unique atmosphere in the evening.

*Important to know before booking*
Michel is a compact van - perfect for maneuverability and parking anywhere, but you cannot stand up inside. It's the compromise that makes it an easy van to drive and live in daily: light, discreet, and comfortable wherever a larger vehicle cannot go. It has an outdoor shower with good pressure, but there are no toilets or integrated shower room. If the minimalist adventure and the freedom of a true road trip appeal to you more than the comfort of a large motorhome, you will love Michel.

*The little details that make a difference*
• The openings in the living area are equipped with mosquito nets and blackout blinds.
• Clean water tank of 65L and dirty water tank of 26L (for reference: VW California, 30L & 30L).
• The water from the sink and shower is at ambient temperature (no water heater).
• Complete and suitable dishes provided.
• Basic products are available for your departure (salt, pepper, olive oil, pasta, rice, coffee, tea, soap, toilet paper, trash bags, sponge, dishwashing liquid…).

*Optional, provided for free*
• Pillows and duvet
• Memory foam mattress topper
• Sunshade for the windshield and side windows of the cabin
• Table and 2 camping chairs
• Wedges for leveling the van

*Included services*
The rental price includes a full water tank, as well as cleaning inside and outside the van, to fully enjoy your trip without thinking about it. Allow about 45 minutes to 1 hour for check-in and check-out. Your car can also be parked for free in our secure residence during your entire getaway.
