Hello, we are Florence and Pascal. Last year we fulfilled our dream by acquiring this fantastic VW Westfalia Kepler 1 called "Combine"! Since then, it has enriched our leisure time but also our work as commercial agents! We have to travel all over France, and traveling with our home on our back while avoiding hotels is pure happiness! Combine squeezes into everywhere with its 1.99 m height; it loves (thanks to its automatic driving) the small country roads, but also enjoys the highways where it can unleash its 150 horsepower, without being too greedy on diesel or toll costs (considered as a car). In search of freedom, we wanted to make it completely autonomous by adding a solar panel on the roof (the fridge can run non-stop), a 230 V socket to charge our laptops, and although it comes standard with an interior shower receiver, we chose an exterior shower cabin (hot water if needed) that sets up in 2 minutes. In the surroundings of our magnificent Charentes region, there is so much to discover; that's why we decided to share our experience with you! Combine is waiting for you in Saint Martin de Ré, on the island of Ré! You can arrive by train from La Rochelle (frequent buses) or by car (free parking available). A few personal belongings will be sufficient if you opt for the rental of sheets and towels; it's fully equipped to enjoy the surrounding nature, ocean, marsh, countryside...
