And when you read everything, you know everything! (2 min) I am outfitting the vehicles of the company Carabens, I present here the DUO premium, a concentrate of comfort and equipment in a compact van, just approved as a VASP caravan. It is the culmination of 15 years of experience, this is the boss's van: it is top-notch! A true two-seater! The base vehicle is a Renault Trafic 150hp automatic gearbox EAG9 fully optioned with all the nice driving aids (adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, emergency braking, automatic lights) and a super well-finished body... a great vehicle really pleasant to drive, barely bigger than an SUV... which consumes less than 7.5l per 100. The layout is that of a long van... in a short chassis! By moving the two front seats all the way forward, you can create a large L-shaped living space, allowing for two areas and two accesses. The bed unfolds in seconds to offer 138 cms wide at the shoulders and 190 long... not so bad in a vehicle of this size! The kitchen offers of course two burners, a sink, a 50l compressor fridge!, a clever trash can and plenty of handy storage, and as for your belongings, they will find space in the two large compartments and in the large wardrobe that goes up to the outer metal to gain even more space... The hot shower is taken outside thanks to the hatch tent, or even inside thanks to the cabin with an integrated receiver and the dry toilets with material separation (clean, ecological, and simple) are available day and night. And to ensure that everything works best, the vehicle has a 150ah lithium battery (equivalent to 3 conventional batteries), 280w of solar panels, a pure sine wave inverter of 700w (ok for electric bikes), a 220v charger, diesel heating, a triple source water heater (electric 12v, 220v, and diesel), 80 liters of clean antifreeze-free water, 40 liters of wastewater... in terms of autonomy, we are all set! And finally, if you love biking, the pivoting arm (max 80kg) will allow you to keep access to the vehicle without removing the bikes... A minimum one-week small vacation, two weeks minimum in summer.
