Hello everyone! We are Olivier and Marie, a young couple of 50 years and parents of two youths aged 17 and 22. Passionate about travel and nature, we wanted to instill a love for travel in our children. That is why we set off every year to discover our beautiful world. Recently, we felt a sudden desire to explore it... but with a van. Without hesitation, we made the purchase, which today brings us immense joy. After several successful experiences as just a couple and then as a family of four, we had the idea and desire to share this van with you. That’s why we decided to rent it, and hence why you are reading this ad. We are located in Geyssans in the Drôme, about 25 minutes from our beautiful Vercors and 45 minutes from Ardèche. Here’s what we offer: It’s a Toyota Crosscamp van. It has two double beds: the first is located at the back of the vehicle by folding down the back seat (we have added a mattress topper for additional comfort), and the second is accessible by opening the roof. The beds are spacious enough for a good night's sleep! We ask that you bring your own sheets, blankets, and pillows... knowing that both beds are 100 cm (a 120 cm sheet fits perfectly). As for the kitchen, it is not worthy of a 3-star restaurant, but it is more than sufficient for a good convivial meal! You have a sink (with a 10-liter cold water tank), two gas burners, and a refrigerator of 30x30x15 cm, which is 16 liters. We provide 4 plates, 4 glasses, 4 bowls, 4 forks, spoons and knives, 1 saucepan and 1 colander. You will also have access to 6 cupboards (see photo). On the outside, you have a manual awning, perfect for taking a nap. You can also use the folding table, accompanied by 4 folding stools too. The van is also equipped with a tow bar. On the dashboard, the van is equipped with CarPlay/AndroidAuto. You can connect via Bluetooth or USB to the van to manage music or start the GPS (via Google Maps or Waze), as there is no built-in GPS in the van. The van is equipped with a 180° reverse camera and front and rear radar, assisting with parking. For the night (or as soon as the engine is off), you have two USB ports + two bedside lamps at the roof sleeping area. You also have lighting and heating throughout the van. Additionally, there are two 220 outlets in the van: the only condition is that the van must be connected to an electric terminal (thus unusable in wild camping, but handy in a campsite. The electrical connection is provided). We also provide you with sunshades that limit heat in the summer and are also used against light at night, guaranteeing total darkness. For the shower (if it can be called that), you have a 10-liter bag, to heat in the sun. And as you may have noticed, we have not mentioned toilets, as there are none. Therefore, we leave it to you to arrange with nature for that aspect; we promise not to ask for any explanation on that! For your return, we ask that you bring it back full of diesel. Of course, you can leave your car with us; we have staff present night and day. To conclude, it is with great pleasure and happiness that we share our van with you, which as you have understood, is very dear to us. That is why we ask you to take care of it, without it preventing you from enjoying it. This is common sense and we trust you on that!
