Opel Vivaro KARAVAN

Lovers of freedom and nomadic travel, we decided to embark on the conversion of a van to explore the nearby and distant surroundings offered by the southwest of France more freely! We are therefore offering our van for rent, customized by us, a long Opel Vivaro L2H1 with two side doors (rare!) from late 2013, 2.0 CDTI, 16V Turbo, diesel, manual transmission. Passionate about cultures and rich in travel memories, we decided to make our van a small rolling cabin, a warm and comfortable interior decorated with recycled materials like the zellige from Italy or curtain fabrics. The whole van is insulated and lined with wood from a local sawmill in Dordogne. You will be able to enjoy the following amenities: Options: Bluetooth radio, steering wheel controls, central locking, tow hitch, two side doors with windows, rear door with tinted window, ventilation grills. Equipment: Nomadic AFERIY battery (charges while driving, using solar power and via mains with an extension lead without removing the battery), 200W mobile solar panels (convenient for taking a nap in the shade while enjoying the sun to charge the battery!), 3 lights: one spotlight above the kitchen area and two reading lights on each side, two 220W power outlets, battery recharge cable, CARBEST hot shower (a little comfort that mattered to us!), integrated stove with an insulated and ventilated gas box, sink with a clean water reserve of 20L, grey water 20L, clean water for showering 20L, 20L compression cooler with an LCD display to check the temperature, large bed dimensions 155 x 190 cm, foldable table with a sliding leg, sliding table at the back + 2 folding seats, numerous storage areas, two niches on the side walls. A dishware set including pot, pan, salad bowl, 2 bowls, 2 plates, 2 mugs, 2 glasses, and cutlery and spatulas will be provided for you. There is also a possibility to provide bed linen and/or bath towels upon request. We are based in Lacanau city, and there are several options available for you; you can come to meet us and park your vehicle in our private cul-de-sac. We can also make the vehicle available to you at Tram Stop D - Eysines Centre (or another more convenient stop) for easy access from the train station and the center of Bordeaux. Finally, in case of arrival at Mérignac airport, it is possible to leave the van available for you right outside the airport; please contact us for details.
