We are renting out our adventure van from the brand Pilote based on the Ford Transit Trail 2.0L 170Ch. It is recent, particularly comfortable, and consumes little fuel. Moreover, it is equipped with a limited-slip differential that allows traction to be sent to the wheel that is not slipping, approaching all-wheel drive without the consumption cost.
For full autonomy, it is equipped with 2 AGM auxiliary batteries of 95Ah and 2 high-performance solar panels of 120W, a clean water tank of 110l, and a fridge of 95l.
The heated wastewater tank (100l) and the Truma 4D heating/water heater equipped with the altitude kit allow for escapes in the mountains and in winter cold. In addition, it has obtained the best insulation certification class 3.
It has 4 registration card seats and 4 sleeping places (recommended for 2 adults and 2 children max), an XXL storage area with a lashing rail to put all your sports equipment, paddles, bikes (2 bikes possible)...etc.
Interior/exterior shower, WC, kitchen, and all useful utensils, heating and hot water from diesel, so gas is only used for the stove.
We do our best to ensure that your rental goes as smoothly as possible and especially as simply as possible. You just need to take your bedding, toiletries, and you're off. We will be happy to give you tips for life in a van; we ourselves are enthusiasts of this form of travel for a long road trip or just for a weekend...
