Lovers of road trips, especially in Réunion where it is well-suited, we couldn't resist the urge to set up a vehicle. We opted for a Ford Transit 2T L2H2 TDCI 130CH. Indeed, what could be better than to stand inside the vehicle! Not just when it rains or simply to prepare food in complete comfort (no more back pain)!!!!

It is entirely fitted out by us for 3 people. Manual transmission vehicle, powerful and maneuverable, it can go everywhere and park anywhere, ideal on the island's roads. Front and rear radar and rearview camera with a big screen.

Carefully insulated van, it allows you to settle down both by the sea and in the mountains without suffering too much from the heat or the cold. Insulating curtains for the entire front cabin, with ventilation grids if needed. 2 skylights and 1 side window with mosquito nets and blackout blinds.

Permanent double sleeping area (1300 x 1830 cm) extra comfort with sheets, duvet, and pillows, and its reading lights. Retractable sleeping area also comfortable (600 x 1700 cm) which is perfectly suitable for a 3rd person. You can use vehicle wedges to place under the wheels for flat sleeping if necessary.

Kitchen with 2 gas burners for cooking inside next to the transverse door for ventilation; sink (with hot water), fridge/cooler 50L and all the necessary equipment to prepare meals (no need for details, all utensils are there), with coffee maker, tupperware, egg cups (oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper included) etc.... but also a portable oven (OMNIA) on gas!

Transportable dry toilets, convenient for a minimum of privacy.

2 large storage drawers for your belongings and lots of storage space for your groceries and others, with a luggage hold where there's plenty of room (possibility to store a surfboard, for example).

Small brooms and cleaning products.

Clear water autonomy of 80L, with a funnel to fill it easily (with a 10L can available on board the vehicle) and a water hose with adapter if needed. Large quick awning to set up so you can relax in the shade or shielded from the rain with table and chairs.

Great electricity autonomy thanks to the DC/DC charger that charges the auxiliary battery while driving + the solar panel for even greater autonomy to operate/charge your devices (phone, computer, tablets, cameras) in 12V and 220V. Possibility to also charge the battery from the mains with a cable.

Outdoor shower cabin attached to the vehicle allowing for a hot shower (thanks to its gas water heater) out of sight of prying eyes...... Towels, washcloths, shower gel available.

Little extras: umbrella, spade, mallet, badminton game, portable lamps (with their chargers), remote control to operate the rear camera if you want to see what's happening outside the vehicle while it's parked; road map and useful books if you want to disconnect.........
