Hello, we are high school teachers and educators for adolescents. We are starting in the rental business and you will currently find very few reviews about us. However, if needed, you can reassure yourself by checking on Airbnb the comments of travelers who come to stay in our Gîte 'le p'tit vert', in Barbery 14220. We are renting out our first converted van. We chose it to be short and maneuverable, which allows for easy parking in the cities you want to visit and to sleep there. It is the only model in France that offers a Pavillon bed that is 1.50 meters wide, above the front and rear seats, while allowing you to sit underneath in the living room when it is lowered. The other bed, of the diner type, is 1.25 meters wide and also allows for 2 adults to sleep, all while leaving good space for a comfortable bathroom and kitchen area. It is equipped at the back with a rotating module fixed to the chassis, which allows us to rotate our bike rack (designed for 2 electric bikes, additional cost of €20) to the side, so that you can open both rear doors when necessary. Depending on your electricity consumption, you can spend 2 to 3 days in autonomy, thanks to the solar panels and the two storage batteries, on which an inverter is connected that allows you to plug in your light devices at 220V (max 500W). The basic equipment includes heating and hot water with diesel, refrigerator/freezer, gas/electricity (battery or EDF), 2-burner gas kitchen. Fresh water and gray water tanks are approximately 100 liters each. We do the cleaning ourselves and charge €50 extra, to be paid on site. Included in the displayed price are: sheets, duvet, pillows, dish towels, a dish set, a 1L French press and an English kettle, garbage bags, gas for cooking and the refrigerator (when not in use), a 4-person camping table and 2 camping chairs, the eco-friendly product for the chemical toilet, the full tank of drinking water for the kitchen, and we advise you to bring bottled water for drinking. A hose for refilling clean water and electrical connections and extensions are also provided. The van must be returned with a full diesel tank, gray water tanks, and chemical toilet emptied (The toilet can be emptied in a standard toilet, but it must be rinsed, please). Lastly, please bring your Bluetooth speaker to listen to music with the engine off. In due time, we will send you about thirty short video tutorials on the handling of all the equipment. Ce camping-car est propre, confortable et parfaitement opérationnel. jacques nous a accueilli en toute sympathie, ses explications étaient claires et l'état des lieux, au départ et à l'arrivée ont été rapides. ce camping-car nous a permis de passer un excellent séjour en bord de mer, sans aucun problème. je recommande !
