We offer for rent our Volkswagen T5 CALIFORNIA Beach TDI 140 hp diesel van (5 seats and 4 adult sleeping spaces) for you to discover the beautiful landscapes and wide open spaces of Auvergne and the Massif Central, particularly suitable for van travel. It has a kitchen area located in the trunk (equipped with a fridge, stove, and sink with cold water), which allows for a large bed (150 cm) for sleeping in the lower part of the vehicle.
The van is very discreet and has compact dimensions: 1.99 m high, which allows it to pass everywhere (under 2 m toll gates and car toll rates). The van is equipped with a 5-cylinder diesel engine (140 hp) that consumes on average 7.5 to 8.5 L/100 km. The van is equipped with all-season tires and a number of options: Auto climate, ABS, ESP, Cruise control, Reverse radar, Rear camera, Front radar, Dash cam to film your road trips, Steering wheel controls, CD radio, GPS, hands-free kit and Bluetooth audio, swiveling and heated front seats.
If you wish to take your bikes, you can transport them on the VW bike rack for 4 bikes equipped with locking knobs to secure your bikes. And if you need to tow a trailer, you can benefit from the removable hitch.
Regarding sleeping arrangements, there is enough space for 4 adults: Upper bunk (roof tent) with slats width 125 cm, lower sofa bed width 150 cm. For cooler nights, you can use the stationary heater. Two 47 L suitcases, fixed to the rear windows, will allow you to store your clothes to fully enjoy the interior space.
On the bathroom side, you can enjoy an outdoor shower and shower cabin, as well as a sink located at the back (clean water reserve = 2 X 14 L).
For meals, you will have a table (indoor/outdoor) and 4 folding chairs, the outdoor awning, the compression fridge (31 L), the gas stove with 1 burner (2 gas cartridges provided), as well as all kitchen equipment (cookware set, dishes and cutlery for 4 people, cleaning products and dishware provided).
An auxiliary battery will allow you to charge your portable devices via 12 V sockets. An exterior socket also allows connection to 220 V to charge the battery and power the interior of the van with 220 V. We can keep your vehicle on our property during your stay. We also offer to pick you up at the SNCF train station or Clermont-Ferrand airport. We look forward to welcoming you for your van vacation!
